Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2008

I have just been sent details of this event which will be held at Grand Hall, Olympia Exhibition Centre, London on 7 - 9 September 2008.

The event is aimed at retailers, restauranteurs, chefs, hoteliers, distributers and anyone trying to source high quality food and drink. In addition they have various guest speakers talking about marketing & PR, finance, business expansion, increasing profits and other start up business issues.

With a bit of luck I will have time to visit this event and especially as it incorporates the 'Speciality Chocolate Fair'.

I like the sound of this and it would be a great place to get some decent info for the forum.

I always get muddled up with the one where ExCell is and the old one.

Something we would certainly attend if we were based in the UK, logistics make it impossible this year although given the status of the event we will be aiming for next year. Put that coffee on hold Hammy! It appears to be one of the higher profile events with some specialist angles related to the catering industry. Worth a visit for sure.

That's a good idea Mac. Maybe if we have a look at what events are on next year we could have forum get together or something. Seeing as we are starting to get regular new members we should hopefully be able to get a fairly good turn out.

Sounds like a good idea Stu. It would be good if we could maybe try to meet at one of the appliance trade shows as well.
