Why do we get so many first time posters that go straight into selling their services or products without so much as an introduction? to me it beggars belief OK rant over :x

There is one simple reason for this and that is that the businesses concerned are looking at a quick advert. This nature of one post advertising happens on all forums and and is seen by regular members as out of order. The real issue is however that the businesses in question have not built up any credibility with forum members and do not really stand a chance of any financial gain.

Get a few post under your belt and "genuinely" contribute which, after all is what all members should do, check out the rules and regs and then post in the relevant section. Simple.

I,m with you gomorley on the recent post in question as the business concerned could not even spend the time to post in the correct section. My own opinion is that new posters need to realise that this site is a "forum" and not a free ads board.

Cheek of the devil if you ask me.

I would never be so rude and blatant with the links going straight back to them. I suppose some sites won't notice and end up leaving the posts.
