UK Catering Forum

This is a charity event established by an employee in the Catering equipment industry. In order to create awarness i thought it might be a good idea to post a press release on the forum so people within the industry can see what we are doing in thw world of chairty:

The business is supporting local fundraiser and employee Jonathan Skinner. The close to the edge tour was set up by Jonathan in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in 2009. His challenge is to ride around the edge of the UK on his motorbike, which was kindly donated to him for the ride by Marshall Catering. The idea of the ride is to raise money and awareness for the trust. The trip will push Jonathan to travel 400 miles a day and in total travel over 4,000 miles within two weeks. Marshall Catering have been an established business within the community for over 30 years. A spokesman for the company said ‘’ we are all keen on supporting Jonathan with fund raising and creating awareness for the trust. It is a great thing to do and we all know it will be a challenge for him, but at the same time we are all behind him and his cause’. The benefit of the donation has motivated and helped Jonathan step closer to the dream of completing the tour.Jonathan has always worn the reasons for the trip on his sleeve: ‘My aunt suffered from Cystic Fibrosis, It is a disease that has become more and more real as the years have gone by’’. He will be setting off from Harrogate on the first of August 2010
