What price would you be looking at for something more suited to a commercial kitchen then?

Most heavy duty induction hobs seem to be in either twin plate or quad plate size. They are around £1500-£3000 for a twin and £2500-£6500 for a quad. Electrolux do some heavy duty use ones for about £2000 for a twin and £3500 for a quad. A friend of mine told me this and they have 2 Electrolux quads in there kitchen, being very pleased with the reliabilty.

You could pay anything up to these sort of figures, but you can get a good commercial induction hob for around £600 - £700 or so. For £1500+ you would be getting some seriously heavy duty kit which would be over kill really!

I have seen one of the Electrolux twin hobs and it was a very nice bit of kit. Not the sort of thing we would buy due to volumns but was ideal for the large hotel restaurant it was in.
Thanks
